This print is part of The Salt & Sea series highlighting Gene Rogovitz's pen and ink style. This line was meant to capture the essence of the ocean and the Jellyfish fully embodies this approach. It's fluidity matches the movement of water like nothing else. This is one of those pieces where I was not loving the process of creation because it took me away from my original design vision. One however, that surprised me in it's end creation. Now one of my favs.
